There's a magic talking pug. That's all you really need to know. But there's also a wonderful array of LGBTQ+ characters that are introduced and it's touching.
Warning, however, it was canceled. This was based on a graphic novel so you may be able to catch the ending there. #tvshows #cartoons

On first glance, once again, this is a silly children's cartoon. Your kid may have this on because "llamas and horsies"! But you'll start giving it a second and third glance as the plot gets darker and the musical numbers catch your ear.

A fantasy show with dragons but without all the gore and adults only plotlines. Another great show that has you questioning exactly who to root for and finding empathy with characters on both sides of the line. The animation style and voice acting are great for the genre (digitally generated) and the scripts provide great humor along the way.

Another wondrously odd series that you should just take my word and watch. My one note to you is not to expect to fully understand what's going on - ever. Just enjoy the world and music.

I urge you to go into this one completely blind as to the nature of the show and just let it take you in. The world that is created is weird and imaginative. It's difficult to guess where it's headed next and that's what I loved about it.
